Their merino products are made solely from sustainably sourced merino wool, that is 'mulesing' free, which means that animals living in their natural habitat were not treated by the cruel mulesing method of having parts of their skin, infected by insects, cut out and needing to deal with the scars by themselves. These kind of practices are already banned and taken care of by the majority of South - American countries, including Argentina, where Engels wool comes from.

Care Instructions
Wool-fleece clothing should be washed by hand very gently in lukewarm water. Do not wring or rub it, because then it can become felted.
Please do not dry in the dryer or on the heater, as this will make the wool hard, brittle and matted. We recommend squeezing the products out in a towel after the rinsing process, pulling them into shape while they are still wet and drying them flat.
